This less frequented but charming walk near Faial follows the Levada da Castelejo to its source at the Ribeiro Frio stream. Passing by magnificent viewpoints, the entire route is easy to hike – only at the end of our tour you have to climb through some rocks if you want to take a break at the picnic table. There is a small suspension bridge, with a beautiful view over the river.
