This levada starts in Ginjas, São Vicente and you can drive almost to the start (if you have a suitable car, you can drive on a bumpy, unpaved road to park right at the beginning of the levada).
It’s a quiet, relatively short and easy walk. The whole levada is very flat. However, there are 3 tunnels to pass, 2 shorter ones and one very long tunnel, which, like almost all tunnels, is made for the (mostly) short Portuguese people. Besides beautiful green nature and some waterfalls, there is always a nice view into the valley of São Vicente with its characteristic small chapel.
